Intervals
WILLIAMSBURG—Colonial Road Runners interval workouts: every Wednesday, 4:30 p.m. (November through January), 5:00 p.m. (February), 5:30 p.m. (March through October). Meet at Walsingham Academy track, Jamestown Road and John Tyler Lane. Training sessions open to all. Rick Platt (757-229-7375).

Group Runs
WILLIAMSBURG—5 to 20 mile long distance runs, 6 a.m. (Saturdays); regular training runs, 6 a.m. (Mondays through Fridays), both meet in parking lot behind Baskin-Robbins ice cream store on Prince George Street, and have post-workout refreshments at Aroma's Coffee shop (400 block of Prince George Street). NEWPORT NEWS—Peninsula Track Club group runs, 7 a.m. (Saturdays, "kamikaze" session), 8:30 a.m. (Sundays, "fun run" session); Newport News Park (campsites parking lot). Group runs open to all runners and walkers (varied pace, distances from 3-20 miles). Peninsula Track Club hotline (757-722-1303).
PENINSULA—Fort Eustis Hash House Harriers Run (3-5 miles cross country and roads, non-competitive, varied courses, followed by social), usually 6 p.m. during summer (Tuesdays) or 3 p.m. (Saturdays). $4 for food and beverage.
